Just an FYI...also, ENGLAND!

Not that most people would notice, considering how terrible I am at keeping up with the internets and LJ and all, but I may or may not be incommunicado for a bit. In a few hours, I'm hopping on a plane to London to begin grad school at the University of London, SOAS. I'm hoping I'll be able to get internet in my room relatively quickly, but no guarantees. So if you hear even less from me than usual, that's why.

In related news, I know at least several of my flist are in the London/UK area and I'd love to get together with any/all of you if people are interested. Feel free to respond here or drop me a line at gninek at gmail dot com and hopefully we can work something out. ^__^

And now...off to finish packing. *whimper* This is the third time I've packed up/moved all my stuff in four months! *groans*

Whoo hoo. Youre our new muncling neighbour. How exciting. Were doing a big London visiting various friends thing on Saturday. [cinema\dinner\museum\theatre] Im sure youll have very exciting fresher\party things to do but youre very welcome to join us for lunch\cinema\play during the day. We will be around the Westminster Bridge end [ie the one Eccleston and Rose run over in Doctor Who next to the London Eye so you cant miss it] Our friends are coming from Oxford but wont get here til 5 so we have the whole morning and afternoon for a touristy tour if youd like one.

Ok just in case the final message didnt get there [my inbox isnt registering that i sent it......] message read

Excellent looking forward to it too ;]
With regards to recognising each other; [as much as I would love to have some spyish muncle signal or yellow badges with numbers on] we are twins so the chances of there being another set of 20ish female twins in the Trafalgar area is probably quite low so you shouldnt have too much trouble identifying us. *checks google to make sure there is no Twin Pride March scheduled in Trafalgar tonorrow*

Weve also managed to get an extra ticket for the play tomorrow evening if you want to come along though the fact that we managed to get an extra seat on a friday lunchtime may indicate the quality of the performance we are in for ;)

Charing Cross tube station will take you almost directly to Trafalgar Square once out you really cant miss Nelsons column. It being the tall phalic like object. Unfortunately you can no longer feed the pigeons- boo. Though we can sing Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins anyway.
