And yeah, I'd definitely do some study of basic Spanish, either a class or book/recording thing, before moving. I had actually studied Japanese for over a year before heading there. But there's nothing like actually immersing yourself to really *learn* a language. ^__^ And learning languages is so fun! ^__^
