After my initial empathizing of people being upset by Lex's upsetting behavior, I find myself enjoying these discussions. It reminds me of the debates on Ethics, where I always had to remind myself not to use examples from fiction. (I was part of the debate on genetic manipulation and I was sorely tempted to introduce X-Men politics into the discussion.) :D
I wholeheartedly agree with your points of argument re: Moira (though not without initial reservations because I have a soft spot for heroes' mothers), but the thing that bothers me the most is the possible retcon of Lex's mutant status. Wtf is up with that, writers?
Why is it that most of the characters, especially the women, drive me so nuts on SV Lana, Chloe, and Martha have been driving me nuts this season, that I find myself looking forward to Lois-in-between-eps fanservice-y therapy!
