Response to SGA 5x11 (by comic yet again)

While there were things I enjoyed about "The Lost Tribe", overall I didn't love it as much as "First Contact". Ah well. And again, most of what I'd have to say about it,

xparrot summed up nicely here. It did, however, leave me very much in need of tags (anyone wanna help with that? ^_-) and thus another short tag-comic was born.

One of the things I found most missing from the ep were team reunion(s)/team time. Hence the need to draw them all together. ^__^

As always, C & C is very much loved.

I love how protective and concerned Teyla's body language is- she looks like she's about 30 seconds away from hugging him!

Err, I will admit, I have a crazy fondness for drawing chibi shoes...and Rodney's shoes in the show make me squee for unknown reasons. So...um, if it's odd, I share it? ^_-

I don't know what's going on. But I like the background a lot! I get that the lights in the background are twinkling, and the water you portrayed is done with such simple lines.

Okay, so his ears might not be quite a pointy as I draw them, but they're quite special! He just has naturally very pointy ears. ^_^ It's become a major fanon thing.

Oh, me, too! The team has been sadly missing in these last few episodes, split up and cut off from each other...it's very sad.

But this makes it allllll better, so yay you!! I love how John's elbowing Rodney! Woobie Ronon! Awwwwww.

Awww... so cute and sad and comforting... Okay, and this is me spilling my weirdness, but... I totally love how Rodney and Ronon are physically echoing each other, and Teyla and John are physically echoing each other. I see Rodney/Ronon and Teyla/John as kind of twinish so, this really hits the mark for me. :)

Heee, it's funny, I was half doing that on purpose, cause I'm terribly fond of the fact that in so many ways, Rodney and Ronon are reaaaallly similar! So, yay, so glad it works! *huggles*

This cartoon sums up in one frame, all my hopes and desires for Atlantis that have been pretty badly mashed this season.
The Team! The relationships and understanding that could be explored between the team members. This is where the show should be, this is what they should focus on (aside from the occasional shirtless Shep moment of course).
If they could only have left the blatant McKeller out of it, I would happily carry on with the beauty that is McShep in peace...

Yeeeah, I would be so, sooo much happier if they had just left the romance out! Giving hints to all the different pairings is one thing, but I'd just rather they left it out of canon! Especially when one of the characters is my least favorite in the show...*sigh* :-p

On the one hand, I saw Ronon's actions at the end of the ep as more being weirded out by Keller assuming he was into her (and the intentions conversation in "Tracker" being a giant "gotcha"), but then that's because I know Jason Momoa is very much anti-Ronon/Keller. And because Ronon isn't that much of an asshole to only be after a girl because Rodney is. andbecauseRonondeservesbetterthanKellerandMomoaknowsit

However. All that being said, I like your comic better than canon. And not just because of wise Teyla and the "already taken." I can hear her voice saying the line as I read it on your comic.

John's line is awesome.

I know how much Jason is against the Ronon/Keller, but I think they were going for it in the script, especially considering how Mallozzi kept talking about it. I agree Ronon deserves better (but so does Rodney! Bleh!) *sigh* Poor Ronon, poor boys! And poor all of us fans! :-p
