Respone and comic for SGA 5 x 10

My brief ~~squeeee!!!~~ response to SGA 5x10 "First Contact", including another little episode tag/missing scene comic, a la the one I did for "Tracker" because I just can't help myself.

So many people on my flist have already done such wonderful commentary, squee, or even glorious picspams(I love you

naye!!!), so there's not really much I can add. But there are one or two things I just gotta chime in on, cause really, they were just too wonderful not to!

I mean, I don't think there are enough exclamation marks to properly express the SQUEEE that is the Rodney/Daniel team of snark and genius!!!!

And worried John and Teyla. Teyla's "Rodney". I know other's have remarked as well, but I just can't get over it. It's not Janus's lab, or Rodney's lab, or the secret lab or Rodney and Dr. Jackson. Nope, nope, just "Rodney" cause we all know what's most important and just TEAM! Squee!

And the way Rodney won't let Daniel die but can't just come out and say it or the way he speeds up when they order him to stop cause he just has to finish and he's worried about Atlantis and just, dwah! Rodney!!!

Okay, I could go on and on...and ON (about how EVIL cliffhangers are, among other things!! :-p), but as I said, many others have said it so much more eloquently or humorously, so I'll leave it to the experts. Instead, here's another chibi comic cause, well...um...I have no excuse? ^_-

Err, no disrespect to Jack intended. I adore him, truly. But can you *imagine* them trying to sit him down and make him take a test? ^_-

Daniel is just the cutest thing- you've got his posture just right. And Rodney, being all proud of his boyfriend! Ahhhh!

Hmm, well, the pics I'm putting up are about only 25% of the actual scan size...though I don't think they hold up as well large...though, for printing they probably do better...hmm...

Yes yes yes! The little manga is so so true! And I really enjoyed the episode because I have so much love for Rodney (as, apparently, does everyone else) and him and Daniel (who, as an Egypologist, I just love to hate) are just too awesome together!

In conclusion, I see your squeeee and raise you squeeeeeee.

Hehehehee, I'll see you're squeeeeeeeeee, and um..call? ^_- Well, and add some squeee for your icon as well. I really need to find me some of those, cause I really think there needs to be some action figure theater in Japan! ^_- Just think of all the wonderful places I can have them making out in front of in Kyoto! ^_-

And yes, Rodney is HOMG made of WIN! And Daniel and just...*whimper* don't wanna wait two weeks! *cries*

Yeah, I was always of two minds with the D/J ship...mainly cause at the time I got into SG-1, I was still leery of all slash in general (still not sure what I was thinking...^_-), so I was more on the gen/smarm side of the fandom (though my favorite gen fics focused on the Jack/Daniel friendship so...)
