I think it was about the same too, but I'd been resisting the evil pull of Atlantis of a couple of years as I'm a long-time SG1 fan (ya know, what with teh infinite opportunities for shouting at the screen about NOOO STOP RAPING EGYPTOLOGYANTHROPOLOGY ARG!!), and finally I caved. I blame my mum and how much I am in love with Rodney. And yeah. To anyone with even the slightest slash leaning you're not going to be able to remain a gen fan for long in this fandom. It's just too gay. XD
