Actually, I owe you an apology as well, for assuming that you were on board with the John-as-rebel bandwagon when you're actually not. In all fairness, ALL of the characters' ethics are questionable in various ways; I guess the problem is that I dislike seeing Keller singled out when all of the others (but especially John, Elizabeth, Rodney and Carson) are guilty of (IMHO) worse actions, if one is inclined to dissect them. I'm, honestly, still too much in fan-love with the show to want to do that (maybe after I fall out of fan-love, I'll be more interested in seeing them torn down) but, anyway, I'm sorry for assuming that you were using rose-colored glasses on John when it wasn't true.
