I have been somewhat jealous of every Asian trip you've taken, partly of the incredible sights you've seen, and partly just from wishing I'd been there with you. But this harbor/island/caves cruise?! Ask your dad what my comments were like as we looked through your Picasa album. With each picture we came to I was sputtering more and more vociferously about how very jealous I am of this trip!! First of all the boat--we have never wanted to go on a love boat Caribbean cruise... but a lovely wooden boat with a sail with only fifteen passengers?! Through some of the most incredible scenery in the world?! I'm green with envy!
We thought the freestanding island rocks off the coast of Oregon were pretty spectacular. But these? INCREDIBLE! And your pictures are gorgeous, Jeannine. Between them and your detailed narrative we feel almost like we were there ourselves in spirit.
Thank you so much for posting so much about the trip so quickly. We GREATLY enjoyed this travelogue! Can't wait to talk to you about it! Sorry we missed your call this morning. You were asleep by time we got the message, and this is the first time all day I've had a chance to check email and LJ. So glad I did! This was a great way to end my day.
