And to be honest, I debated putting a note about that at the beginning myself, because, yeah, the definition of 'culture' is truly a continual debate in most of the social/cultural sciences. I was using country/culture similar to you were, with the understanding that they're not the same, but for the purposes of these questions, they can be taken as almost synonymous. I swear half of academia is just coming to some agreement on semantics! ^_-
