New Icon

I got around to making a new icon...and I thought, to celebrate, i'd actually update my journal...its only been err...a few months? Oops...so I'm terrible about posting, what can I say? Between classes, work, and of course the various fanning I've been doing...

Not only does one piece STILL have its fangs sunk deep into my soul, bleach and G-defend do as well...well, G-defend has always had a little piece of the piece since freshmen year, but until recently I'd never actually be able to fully read it...and now I have (took my three weeks to get thru 23 volumes, and of course still needed my dictionary and all, but still...) I've READ it at long last, and its SO CUTE!! I mean, having multiple times flipped through it, I knew it was pretty, had ohhh so many gay boys and lots h/c...but just...its THAT much cuter than I imagined now that I can understand what's going on!

I have ambitions to translate it, and start a site dedicated with the goal of attempting to drag more people into it...we'll see how that goes...

And now its four in the morning and i really should probably be getting to bed :-P

You should take pics of your room, if you've got all those pretty posters up this year as well. ...actually, I think your room pretty much describes how obsessed you are, and what owns your soul. And you know you have my support in bringing people to the G-defend fandom. I've already been showing people the few pictures of Iwase and Ishikawa I can find, and they're on my desktop. It's just so... cute and lovely!

I can't wait for those translations! (Plotbunnies are swirling around my feet anxiously!)

Like the icon! I just saw your icon/post in lebateleur's journal and wandered over here. Koori and Silver Diamond own 97.3% of my soul, but a tiny bit of what's left over is available for G-Defend. It looks really cute from the few scanlations I've seen, and I even own the first 6 vols in Japanese, but at the rate I'm currently reading, I should be finishing up my 24 volumes of Koori around the time Social Security goes out of business, so G-Defend is way down the list. How long have you been studying Japanese that you can read 23 volumes in three weeks?? And who do I have to kill to acquire this skill??

I've been taking Japanese since Freshman year (I'm a senior) and spent last spring in Kyoto...I just recently am able to actually read and fully understand stuff...

I started collecting G-defend freshman year as well, but at that time I could only really make out a few words/look at the pretty pictures. I've been driving my sister nuts cause I keep squeeing over my G-defend now that I can finally finally read it...and now I'm determined to drag more people into it! :)

Though I've flipped thru all of Kouri I've only really read the beginning of it, so love it...and so looking forward to more Silver Diamond, first two vol. oh so pretty!! Will have to check out your site! :)
