Another installment of my SGA chibi Comic series

So, it's been a bit, but finally got around to finishing another McShep Chibi comic. Haven't done much art recently, feels good to be getting back to it!

In other news, I'm reading House of Many Ways, the new sequel to Diana Wynne Jones's Howl's Moving Castle. Don't love it as much as Howl's (which would be a very hard thing to do, really, considering my level of adoration for that book ^_-) but it's always great to see all the characters again. I'm tickled that it's been 18 years since she wrote the last one, but in book time it's been less then two! ^_^



So, tried something a little bit different with this one. I had some free time at work, so decided to ink it. Only then it called out for some color/shading, but a full job takes waaaay too long, so, um...I compromised? Took longer than usual but still much faster than full color. Hope it works! ^_^



Okay, I admit it, I have a thing for the kid!fics. I can't help it! sheafrotherdon's Iowa 'verse was one of the very first McShep stories I read, and well, what with it's cuteness beyond words, it left a lasting impression! ^_-

I have an art questions, you don't draw the chibis hands, it that a stylistic choice of your own or the way that certain types of chibis are drawn?

As for the chibi hands, little of column A, little of B. Chibi's often don't have hands, or very simple ones. But also, hands are my ENEMY! Or at least an arch-rival! ^_- Soo, one of the things I love 'bout the chibi style is it allows me to skip 'em! ^_-
