So, in between job hunting (I have some temp work starting next week, so that's something at least!) and my massive Loki feels (see beneath the cut) I also got in some sight-seeing. Went on a day trip excursion out of Sydney to the Blue Mountains. I'll do a full post about it, I swear (mainly cause certain parental units will bug me until I do...love you mom! ^_-) but in short, it was a great trip, beautiful weather, breathtaking vistas, made some new friends (that included an open invitation to Singapore, w00t!) and, as the title says, pet a koala:



There was also hand feeding of wallabies and kangaroos. I may have been a bit in cute overload ^_^

And now, my latest art, the second attempt in my ongoing need to draw Loki receiving ALL THE HUGS! Also known as, my Loki FEELS, let me share them with you!! ^_-

This was semi-inspired by this wonderful, gloriously long fic my sister's currently writing, which is part of the reason Loki's not in his full regalia. Also, that outfit, while all kinds of awesome, not exactly hug-friendly!

There were several times with this pic I had one those "grrr, clearly I can't draw AT ALL why do I even try *headdesk*" moments...and there's still things I'm less than happy with (hands, OH GODS, WHY?! You shall always be my ultimate nemesis! :-p) but overall...Loki gets hugs, so really, what more do I need! ^_-

I'll admit, I was having fun doing rather broken!Loki...as I mentioned, it's based kinda off this scene is this fic my sister is writing in which Loki is...well, rather broken and Thor is rather determined to make things better and I just LOVE these brothers being all cute together so very very much!

Err...sorry, my Loki feels got away from me, they have a tendency to do that ^_- So glad you like the pic! ^^

*hugtopusses* Gimme ALL your Loki feels, I'm feeling withdrawal, because I was too busy with RL to read/talk/look at much Loki anything and I miss it!! :D

and broken Loki, God, he's just so!!! SO SO SO MUCH! XD He gives me all the feels. Now you make me want to rewatch Thor! Just for the feels of it all!

And yes, I love it too! While I'm totally into Thorki as a pairing (but like the whole "adopted no incest kind") I'm also really into their dynamic as a broken family, just ALL of them is perfection! ♥

And thank you for getting back to me! Makes me want to comment again, which you know, fun for both of us! ♥

*glomps while gushing Loki feels all over the place* He's just so tragic and broken (and rather insane, post-Thor/Avengers...but in that hot way!) and I love his ridiculously over the top, amazing outfit and his crazy flippy hair and his relationship with his brother...um...yeeeah, Loki feels. I have them...in SPADES! ^___-

And it is always so much fun to squee with others. My sister and I have been skypeing for several hours almost everyday, and the majority of our conversations involve Loki. OOPS! ^___- When we're not rewatching parts of Thor and/or Avengers over skype together. Need more movies like burning!!

For me, as much as I WANT to be into the Thorki (cause man is it PRETTY!) I go more for the gen brothers cause...well, brothers (or really, any close sibling relationship) is totally my kryptonite. Also, it was the comics Journey into Mystery that fully dragged me into the fandom cause I just adore bb!Loki. But that going Thorki is just....sooooo not my cup of tea.

But I do find in terms of art especially, the Thorki/gen brothers line blurs rather easily, so, whee! More fun all around. ^_-

For me the Thorki basically happened like this: -Thor and Jane kissing on screen- *turns to friend* "Wait, Loki wasn't Thor's love interest?" XD

I've read some amazing fic about them bot and just, I'm madly in love with them as a pairing, but I have to admit that the fic I read is usually with them knowing they are not brothers or never having met before/not having grown up together, because I do love the dynamic between them, but I'm not really into siblingcest at all (it happens, like my forrays into reading mpreg, but it's usually more about the quality of the writing and the story telling and a good author dragging me along, then me seeking it out)

I have friends I talk to about Loki lots too, but lately work and stuff just got in the way and then GOD FORBID I had to spend a lot of time with people who are not into Avengers and Thor and just... you can't just go all "OMG LOKI IS DA BEST Y/Y with those, right?

I love that you can geek out with family about that, my family hasn't even seen the movie yet XD So all my geeking out has to happen on the L to the J XD

OMG!! the Flippy Hair! I love that EVERYONE is all "I have manly hair!" and then you have Natasha doing that "I'm a penthouse model getting up" movement on the roof and then LOKI DOES THE SAME THING DOWNSTAIRS!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAH!! XD

True in art the lines are beautifull blurry, unless you get the explicit stuff, that is, but I know what you mean, the other stuff can go either way and I find that even more intriguing, because that kind of art can be enjoyed by a larger audience and again the interaction with the watcher and the art is what creates the art in a way and I love that, that without those two, art doesn't really exist and that it's never the same. I mean depending on time of day or a time/situation in your life, you will perceive art and literature differently and there is nothing quite like it!
