So…No Thailand pics as of yet…Er, sorry Mom? Soon, I swear. Really, really I do. But for now, more art. Done nominally for the mcsmooch comm. Was in the mood for some Rodney/John, non-chibi cuteness…so…voila.

So, I'll admit, I cheated a bit on the laptop… I just hate drawing them :-p. On the other hand, the fact I didn't need a reference pic to do the white board markers kinda worries me. I think I may use them waaaaay too much at work. Also, I realize there's something sorta wonky with the perspective (otherwise known as my arch-nemesis in art). One of these days I'll actually take a real art course and hopefully that'll teach me how to properly combat my foe. But, until that day, guess I'll just have to muddle through, weird angles and all :-p.

Awwwww! Boyyyys~!

I'm just boggled by all the little details (the laptop! and the cable! the markers! the pudding cup! eee!) and you've got the jewel colors of the wall just right. And Rodney's face -- it's perfectly, obviously him, and yet it doesn't have that "traced from a publicity shot of the actor" look that so much fanart does.

As for Rodney's face, between this pic, the one I did for you and Signe and the Night Reflections one, I've *had* to (oh, and what a chore it was, really ^_-) look at so many different shots of Rodney, I think they all blend together. Glad it works! ^_-...I might be having a little too much fun drawing him. Oops ^_-
